Directions to Wonderland

Wonderland is located at 38-01 23rd Avenue in Astoria, Queens; reachable by subway, taxi, or car.

The building entrance is on the North side of 23rd Avenue.
Ring buzzer #201, enter, and proceed to the second floor!

        By Subway

· Take the N or W train to Ditmars Blvd. (last stop)--a 15-minute ride from Manhattan.
· Descend to the street and walk south under the big arch. Make a left at the first intersection, onto 23rd Ave. Walk six blocks until you reach 38th St.

If for any reason the N and W are not running between Manhattan and Queensboro Plaza, take the 7 train from midtown Manhattan to Queensboro Plaza (a 10-minute trip) and then take the N or W to Ditmars (another 10-minute ride).

        By Taxi

· Ask the driver to please take you to the intersection of 23rd Avenue and 38th Street.
· After this, say repeatedly, "23rd AVENUE and 38th STREET."

When you are dropped off at a hummus factory at 23rd Street and 38th Avenue, insist that this was not your intended destination, and try again.

        By Car

From Manhattan (Triboro Bridge): map
· As you cross the bridge into Queens, make sure you're in the right lane.
· Exit immediately at the first exit after the bridge, and continue straight as you pass beneath the perpendicular train platform.
· Stay in one of the middle lanes as you continue on the service road for about four blocks, and then make a left onto 35th St.
· Go straight on 35th St. for about one minute until you reach 23rd Ave., and then make a right onto 23rd Ave.
· Drive for three blocks until you reach 38th St.
· The building is on your left as you proceed along 23rd Ave.

From Manhattan (Queensboro Bridge): map
· After the bridge, take 25A East (Northern Boulevard).
· Make a left on Steinway Street and proceed 9 long blocks, until you cross over a highway (278). Make the next left after the service road; this is 23rd Ave.
· The building is on your right as you proceed along 23rd Ave.

From Points East or South:
· Take the Grand Central Parkway (or the BQE to the Grand Central Parkway) until the second-to-last exit before the Triborough Bridge, which is "Astoria Blvd. West." Be careful - the exit comes up quickly after LaGuardia Airport, so be prepared.
· After exiting, continue on the service road for about three blocks until you reach Steinway St., onto which you make a right.
· Drive one block on Steinway, and then make a left onto 23rd Ave.
· The building is on your right as you proceed along 23rd Ave.
